 It was not my first Korean organic milk soft ice cream experience, as you know South Korea is one of my favorite travel destination. In Seoul, it was a huge thing but until my last visit (this summer) I found that the hype was not as great as earlier. Anyway, the same thing here in Jakarta, we already got WooYoo at Pantai Indah Kapuk and Honey Creme at Pondok Indah Mall so what is Milkcow ? I knew they several outlets in Seoul, I saw one in Samcheongdong area. To describe, their ice cream is creamy and very milky yet sweet enough that only allows me to have just one. It was the case for the original with honey comb. Though they have many toppings from caramel popcorn to ferrero rocher, I must say, go for the affogato . It's a great thing that they use local coffee beans, the most important thing that it goes well with the soft ice cream. A cup of ice cream with a hot of espresso, bitter coffee, sweet and soft ice cream, balance flavor.  Moreover, the waffle was really good!! Supe

How do you like ice cream? If you're following me on my Instagram , you may notice that I am really into ice cream. It became a habit that since years ago, I always look for ice cream places when traveling. My Singaporean friends told me about this ice cream parlor also some other names but I find Tom's Palette quite interesting. Why? Because they have unique flavors, such as salted egg yolk , yuzu , and red wine sorbet . Honestly, I was very excited to try their salted egg yolk flavor, it may sounds weird but in fact really it's not that bad.  Ordered Waffle with two scoops of ice cream ( salted egg yolk and white chocolate nori ), yes went for adventurous palate, it costed us SGD 12.40. Surprisingly I love the white chocolate nori , so good! But the white chocolate was too sweet to my liking. It was eating french fries with ice cream, savory and sweet at the same time. While the salted egg yolk was just fine for me, no rancidity, but you still can taste the grainy textu

Ever heard about Poke? Well, it's a very popular dish from Hawaii, raw fish salad, tuna is the very common one. On my last trip during tight schedule of Influence Asia Award in Singapore (still can not believe that I'm the nominee for Food category representing Indonesia), I came to Aloha Poke  for dinner. The one behind this place is Michael, contestant from Hell's Kitchen Indonesia. Thank's to my dear friend Natasha from Yummy Traveler for bringing me here with Julia from Anak Jajan . We're getting excited thought we're in a rush to follow the next event. Anyway, but we made it, here are some of what we had earlier. But first Coconut Water to quench our thirst. As I know that ingredients in Hawaiian food are pretty much the same with what you can find in Japanese cuisine. Shall we start with  Musubi (SGD 11) ?Sushi-like appearance, wrapped with nori (seaweed), fried spam on top, it was quite tasty as it has soy sauce glaze on top, savory and slightly sweet.

Indian food can be pricey here in Indonesia as it is usually can be found in specialty restaurant but in Singapore (also Malaysia) it's everywhere. Also, finding late night meals in Jakarta is much easier than in Singapore but this place saved us, The Roti Prata House . It was very late and we're super hungry, my first choice was  Maggi Goreng (SGD 3.50), instant noodle that is popular in Malaysia and Singapore but they cooked it again along with some veggies and spices to enhance the flavor. To fulfill the hunger, Masala Chicken Briyani  (SGD 5.50) was quite satisfying, fragrant rice combined with super tender chicken in rich and spicy sauce. More protein from  Crispy Fried Chicken (SGD 4.50) I've always been a fan of this kind of fried chicken, typical Singapore-Malaysian ayam goreng , juicy and tender meat with light crispy batter on the outside. I knew that Bibigo has been here in Jakarta for quite a while, under a big name in South Korea called CJ . Too bad that did not even try while in Seoul , but well my Korean Food experience is enough after the third visit. Located in Pacific Place Mall, oh yes the same place as the proper gelateria Grom  in Jakarta. I did manage to go there before heading to Bibigo, anyway some desserts before Korean feast, I can't say no to gelato . My first Marche experience is when I was in Germany, one to remember they have delicious pretzel. Here in Jakarta they have 2 outlets, at Plaza Senayan and in the center of Jakarta at Grand Indonesia Shopping Mall. If I may ask, what's your favorite from Marche? Will you agree me if I say R östi ? Marche have amazing  R östi, a very simple hearty dish but yet delightful. Well, it's getting closer to Christmas, a special thing from Marche, I got a chance to see the Stollen Bread Making. Stollen Bread is popular in Germany that is usually made before Christmas. Unlike most of Indonesian food bloggers that do only food review, I share recipes on blog means I need to cook frequently. When it comes to grocery shopping, fresh market is always be my first choice though certain ingredients are only available in larger supermarket. I've been using   Samsung Galaxy Tab A with SPen   for a while, it helps me a lot. Using the SPen to write down shopping list on S Note app, it may not save the time but I feel like doing the classic way with a pen and notebook. Moreover, browsing become easier, using the SPen to scroll down the page also moving from one tab to another has never been as easy as this. It’s possible to write using SPen on browser or search box as it will be converted into text. Personally I found it very convenient as I can keep my hands off the screen, no more fingerprints.
