Resep: Salmon Mentai Rice | Beef Shirataki Mentai

It's delicious but really I could not finish one portion, yes thank's to the amount of mayo. So, let's just share.  Mentai Rice , it's actually very easy to make as long as you have kitchen blow torch or use the oven to broil the mentaiko sauce. The sauce itself is made from mayonaise, preferably Japanese mayo like Kewpie and mentaiko (pollock roe / cod roe). If it's hard to find then simply replace it with tobiko (flying fish roe). Please do not skip the fish roe. Anyway, I bought the mentaiko from Tokopedia around IDR 270k for 500 grams, that's a lot, I know. Alternatively, take a look at Papaya Supermarket or other big supermarket as mentaiko is kinda hard to find here. I made 3 dishes with this Mentai sauce, the first one is the one with crabstick served with rice that mixed with nori powder, you can also use furikake. The second is nori rice with salmon aburi. Resep: Perkedel (Indonesian Mashed Potato Fritters) Recipe

How do you make Perkedel ? The recipes may vary, I like mine with boiled potato instead of fried potato as the result will be nice and soft inside, similar to piping hot takoyaki. It's just great with sauteed ground beef, but classic Indonesian version, it's usually made with canned corned beef. There are two version, the one with egg coating (very common) and with the egg mixed into the dough. Sometimes, I make the mixed one, using this recipe but with extra egg so the dough won't be crumbly in frying process. Perkedel is my favorite, it goes well with chicken soup and rice, soto , or just eat it as a snack, yum!! Can you name places to savor proper steak in Jakarta, not many. Here's the newest, Altitude Grill . With great view from the 46th Floor at The Plaza, dinner will be even more romantic. More than a steak house, they have a lot more to offer. Premium cuts, dry aged beef, and of delicious side dishes. Resep: Risoles Smoked Beef dan Sayuran Recipe

My version of Risoles, looks like the regular Risoles but I added smoked beef and grated cheese into the ragout. It's actually not difficult but also not easy. Batter recipe is adapted from Cookpad (original recipe, here ). Beaten egg is just right for coating before bread crumbs but, you can also use the leftover batter. Keep the breaded Risoles in freezer for 2-3 hours before frying. For the filling, I added grated cheese for extra flavor, well it was sooo good! Also, I used fresh veggies but you can use frozen, or precooked veggies. I like crunchy texture but it's normally with cooked veggies. The filling is probably too runny when it's hot but it will be thickened once cool down.  Ingredients: 50 gr butter 1/4 cup smoked beef, sliced 1/4 cup onion, minced 1/4 cup all purpose flour (tepung terigu protein sedang) 300 ml milk 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese 1/4 cup corn, boiled 1/4 cup carrot, boiled 1/4 cup green beans, boiled 1/8 tsp grated nutmeg salt & pepper to tast

It's unlike any other steak house, not really a Korean BBQ, AB Steak By Chef Akira Back . A new place to enjoy American steak with a touch of Korean, so how does it work? There's a grill on every table, the choice from Japanese wagyu to house-aged meat, fancy seating, it's a very unique combination. It's not too early to tell, "book your seat" - OK now let's find out the menu. Appetizers - from Steamed Bun (IDR 150.000) to Scallop Crudo (IDR 135.000), very appetizing and flavorful, while Chicken Wings (IDR 95.000) was quite nice, a little spicy, tasted very Korean though, and Amberjack Carpaccio (IDR 195.000) too salty for my palate, probably as it's served on a salt block but the citrus sauce was really good, fresh, balance out the saltiness, I think it will be great if it's served on a regular plate. Steak Tartare Steak Tartare (IDR 185.000) - not a fan of steak tartare but yes to bone marrow, roasted bone marrow topped with wagyu tartare.
