CHIBO JAKARTA: Teppanyaki And Okonomiyaki (INDONESIA)

From Teppanyaki to Okonomiyaki, from Osaka style to Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki. Some people may be quite familiar with Chibo as it's popular in Japan, also they have some branches in Asia and in Hawaii. Last week, I got a chance to visit their very first restaurant in Indonesia, located in Gandaria City Mall , Jakarta. Customers can choose to sit at the bar table which allow the customers to watch the chef preparing food or at the regular table with grill pan slash hot plates in the middle to keep the food hot. Grill pan on each table is definitely important to me especially when ordering Okonomiyaki. More, they have condiments available on every table from Okonomiyaki sauce, house made mayo, to katsuobushi. What is the first thing that comes to your mind when hearing Plataran ? The Hotel, Resort, or Dining? All related to traditional Indonesian culture. There are few restaurants in Jakarta under Plataran, the newest one is Plataran Menteng . But, I'm going to explore more about Plataran Dharmawangsa . I've been there to attend an event, but at this occasion, I had whole experience from Plataran Dharmawangsa , especially the food. Plataran Dharmawangsa located in a prestige area of South Jakarta, presenting authentic Indonesian cuisine. With the 150 years old heritage Joglo house, wooden Javanese pavilions, 50 years old prayer house, beautiful garden, spacious enough to accommodate private events. The garden is my personal favorite area, and what makes it special? There are two Guineafowl or in Indonesian known as " ayam mutiara ". They're wandering around the garden, no cage, no nothing. I've been a fan of this brand even before my writing about their Ricotta Cheese launching in 2015.  Mulai dari fresh milk sampai keju, aku pribadi memang suka dan pakai produk Greenfields untuk kebutuhan di rumah dan juga untuk shooting video-video masakan yang aku produksi. Keju mozarella merupakan satu yang paling sering aku pakai, karena selain rasa, tekstur, dan efek stretchy yang bagus sehingga lebih menarik untuk pembuatan video. Di akhir 2017 ini, ada produk baru lagi dari Greenfields yaitu yogurt.  Produk Greenfields memang terkenal dengan kualitas premium, dan dengan harga sedikit di atas produk lokal sejenis.
