Attarine Jakarta by Potato Head Group (PTT Family)

A new family member of Potato Head it's Attarine, located in prime location in South Jakarta, precisely in Gunawarman, few meters away before Sofia. The place is currently open only for dinner but soon they will open for all day dining. Quirky mini car in the middle of the restaurant, open kitchen, wood-fired oven, friendly waiters, so far so good, but let's talk more about the food. They're not specifically serving middle east food, but a twist by using spices that derives from what usually used in middle east cuisine. In common, they serve western food in unique way using local ingredients.

From mocktails to cocktails, selected wine to coffee, you can find pretty much anything you want to drink here. I got Green Leaf - IDR 50.000, yes my typical green juice, it has kale, celery, apple, cucumber, lime, and a pich of salt (yasss!!) fresh, no sugar, and just right to balance the meal. While Kevin got his Toasted Tommy's Margarita (IDR 125.000) Reposado tequila, agave nectar, and toasted lemon juice. If you feel for coffee then 1/15 Coffee is ready to brew it for you.

The Appetizers - Honestly, I was very excited when I saw the menu. A Selection of Pickles (IDR 25.000), sounds very interesting as I am really into pickles. We got daikon, carrot, and cucumber, the carrot one was quite nice, tangy, a bit spicy from the red chili. Wood-Fired Flat Bread (IDR 75.000) served with green lentil puree and za'atar oil, closely like hummus but made from lentils instead of chickpeas. It was my typical dish, though I expect the bread would be like pita. Last, it's the Cast-Iron Skillet Shrimp (IDR 135.000) the sauce was really tasty, not too spicy, but very fragrant, good one to be paired with the flat bread.

Mains - Grilled "Fish Of The Day" Fillet (IDR 145.000) served with grilled paprika, fried garlic, and coriander, fish was nice but no longer until I tasted the Crispy Chicken Leg (IDR 145.000) it was super yum, soft tender and juicy inside but light and crispy on the outside, sweetness from the spiced honey, must try! For me, it's best served with Wood-Fired Broccoli (IDR 45.000) while the fish goes well with Heritage Rice Pilaf (IDR 45.000).

The Desserts - they have various cakes from Beau by Talita Setyadi also their house made ice cream and sorbet. I got coconut sorbet, served with a piece of cookie, my way to end the dinner. More than good food but the service also very friendly and informative, anyway you definitely need to try their Crispy Chicken Leg with the Wood-Fired Broccoli.
