Resep: Béchamel Sauce (Recipe)


It's great for pasta, croque monsieur, lasagna filling, or as a base for cheese sauce. The thickness of the sauce may vary depending what you're going to make. I personally like to add garlic puree for extra flavor.



Ingredients:
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • a pinch of grated nutmeg
  • salt to taste

Directions:
On a sauce pan, melt the butter, add in flour, stir until combined. Pour the milk little by little, you may want to use a whisk to prevent any lumps. Season it with salt and nutmeg
