Noodle King PIK - Jakarta: Korean Noodle Feast
I personally always get excited when it comes to Korean Food, and seriously this place is a must visit if you're into Korean Food. Focusing on serving noodle dishes, from the most popular Jjajangmyeon to the skeptic Bibimnaengmyeon, and yes myeon means noodle. As in the other Korean restaurants, you'll get baechu kimchi, the most common kimchi that made from napa cabbage, it's free and it's possible to ask for a refill. I've tasted many when I was in Korea also at some places here in Jakarta, personally the kimchi here is one of best to my liking. If you notice that it's located beside Shirokuma, previously it was Hanok Korean Grill, so they changed the concept from Korean BBQ to modern noodle house.

The Couple: Jjajangmyeon 짜장면 and Tangsuyuk 탕수육
Chewy noodles with thick salty black bean sauce, sweet onion for balance flavor, sesame seeds on top, a comforting dish. Portion was quite generous, perfect for two persons, but really I don't want to share my Jjajangmyeon. Savor it with light and crispy fried pork that dipped into slimy sweet and sour sauce, Tangsuyuk. Some people like it to dip it and some prefer to pour the sauce over the fried pork. FYI, they also have the chicken version.

Cheese Buldak
Decided to order this just because I'm into anything with cheese. Buldak, "bul" translate to fire, and "dak" means chicken in Korean. It was not too spicy to my palate (I can go crazy with chili), but in general it's spicy.
The Best Bibim Naengmyeon 비빔냉면 I've Ever Had in Jakarta
Chewy buckwheat noodles topped with spicy sweet sour savory sauce made from gochujang (Korean red pepper paste) as the main ingredient. Unexpected finding, I said, this place has a super tasty Bibim Naengmyeon, especially the icy broth, fresh umami-like, it took sometimes for me to describe. Mustard and fruity vinegar are the mandatory condiments for eating bibim naengmyeon, love it with splash of vinegar and more sesame oil. As here in Indonesia we might find it weird, eating cold noodles, even more with cold broth, I knew that it's not for everyone but me, I really really love it especially for lunch.
Definitely the first place on my mind when it comes to Jjajangmyeon and Bibim Naengmyeon, have you been to Noodle King? Let me know if you're agree or not.
