Sukiyaki At Shabu Shabu Gen - The Plaza Thamrin

Indulgence your appetite with the new Sukiyaki set from Shabu Shabu Gen , yes they're famous for their Shabu-Shabu though. The difference between Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki, Sukiyaki is cooked with just a little amount of liquid while Shabu-Shabu is soupy that you're able to slurp the broth. You surely can use spinach, but I prefer horenso. Classic creamed spinach goes well with steak, grilled chicken, or even pasta. Some people do it with cream, I use milk instead because I added some cheese. Cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, my classic combination, no doubt. For me,  Mimolette cheese also works well with the spinach but it's very hard to find here in Jakarta, anyway a couple table spoon of cream cheese can be added for even creamier spinach. If using horenso, you surely can remove the stalk but I like to use both the stalks and leaves though you need to squeeze the blanched spinach really well to remove the excess water. After few attempts finally, Egg Free Matcha Tiramisu . I don't think Matcha Tiramisu is Tiramisu because it's different, let's say it's another matcha dessert that in my opinion it best served cold or even frozen. Tiramisu is Tiramisu, classic Italian dessert made from mascarpone cheese with sponge cake layer, the combination of bitter sweet chocolate and coffee. But if you're into matcha then why not, anything matcha sounds great. Keep it simple with few ingredients but my suggestion, please use the best ingredients you can get. Room temperature mascarpone cheese, pure matcha powder, cold whipping cream, things to note for making this eggless matcha tiramisu. It's deep fried, it's greasy, definitely not a healthy snack but here in Indonesia, " gorengan " refers to deep fried snacks are just mandatory, you'll find it like at every corner of the street, it is sold in a food cart. You can eat it as a snack or with rice as a side dish. One of the most popular gorengan is bala-bala , also known as bakwan and ote-ote . Made from thinly sliced, shredded veggies in savory batter, deep fried, similar to Japanese veggie tempura. Cabbage is a must for bala-bala , because fried cabbage is really good. I don't have pretty pic but really it taste better than it looks It's not my first, second, or even the third attempt, I don't think I'm good in baking. But until the day I made this baked cheesecake, "I think I can bake better". You definitely need exact measurement when it comes to baking, also certain technique, sounds complicated but let's make it fun. My sister said it's not cheesecake if it's not baked, OK, so I was a bit nervous when I asked her to taste it, surprisingly she said it was nice, better than my previous. Finally it's here the Korean BBQ Ribs, remember my previous post about eating in Seoul  ?  Also you probably remember the James Back Ribs, spicy pork ribs coated with stringy mozzarella cheese, yassss the good news now we have it here in Jakarta, similar, no pork because it's beef.
